What is Bowen Therapy?
Bowen Therapy is a gentle, therapeutic treatment involving a series of mild, deliberate moves over the skin or through light clothing. Sessions are usually performed with the client lying on a bed or treatment couch, though seated treatments are also possible.
The moves are designed to stimulate the body’s own repair systems, encouraging muscles, tendons, connective tissue, bones, and joints to return to a state of balance. A session typically lasts up to an hour and often results in a deep sense of relaxation, allowing the body to recharge and restore equilibrium.
Bowen Therapy is safe, non-invasive, and requires no vigorous manipulation. It may help improve mobility, circulation, and lymphatic drainage, support nutrient absorption, relieve tension, and address both physical and emotional concerns.
